I love interacting with our wonderful patients and their families. It’s fun to see their smiles coming through the door, watching those smiles change over time, and seeing the difference in each person’s self-confidence! I greet everyone as they arrive, answer our phone, and schedule appointments. I also assist when patients and parents have financial questions. I’m here to make sure everything runs smoothly and am always glad to help!

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, young son, and our family Chihuahua. In my spare time, I enjoy arts and crafts projects and catching up with friends.

Treatment Coordinator/ CDA II

I enjoy spending my days helping people, and making sure every patient has a great visit. It’s fun to make them laugh, and watch their beautiful smiles take shape. I am the person who patients meet at their first consultation. I help patients to understand the treatment that has been proposed by Dr. Fernandes and discuss financial options available to patients and parents as well. I am there to thoroughly answer any questions or concerns. I am also a certified Level II Dental Assistant which helps me to explain all the steps involved in creating your new beautiful smile. I’m there to make sure you have a pleasant patient experience at all of your visits.

I’m from Colombia and came to Canada when I was 10. I speak both Spanish and English fluently. In my free time, I enjoy dancing to Latin music, such as salsa and bachata. I am an only child and I live with my parents and pet Chihuahua.

I love seeing the results of the treatment we provide. Changing a person’s smile makes them so much more happy and confident, and watching that happen never grows old. As a hygienist, I help to place brackets for patients and help to complete their adjustments at their regular visits. I also teach patients about the importance of oral hygiene and help in the removal of their braces when their treatment is completed and get to see their new smile with them for the first time.

I share my life with my dog, Buddy, and love spending free time with my family.

I love being part of a team that creates beautiful smiles, one person at a time. It’s so much fun to become friends with our patients, and watch them become more confident as they see their smile change. I work one-to-one with patients, providing a variety of orthodontic services. It’s my goal that everyone is smiling and happy at the end of their visit. We talk and laugh, share stories, and I find I learn something from each conversation.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, running, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

I love all aspects of orthodontics, especially building friendships with our patients and parents. But the best is seeing a patient’s face light up when they look in the mirror and see their amazing new smile for the first time! I provide a variety of patient care, including placement and removal of brackets, bands, wires, and appliances. I also teach patients about their oral hygiene and what they need to do to keep their mouth healthy while going through treatment.

I’m a married mother of two. When not in the office, I’m chauffeuring my kids around to their various extracurricular activities. When I can find the time, I enjoy mountain biking and skiing.

I love providing personalized care to our patients. Getting to know who they are, and making sure they enjoy their visits is important to me and the rest of our team. I focus on clinical care, including the placement and removal of brackets and bands, and placement of appliances. I also handle the completion of patient adjustments and provide patient education. It’s important each person takes good care of their mouth during treatment, so everything goes smoothly.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, kayaking, and camping. I also like spending time with family and friends.
